Camp Description

Our latest bush camp with 8 Guest Tents including a 2 tent Family unit, a lounge and a dining tent. Each guest tent has an en-suite bathroom with shower, vanity desk and flush toilets. Depending on request a Kingsize bed, 2 Twin beds or triples are available. The lounge is the place to meet other travellers and share your day’s Safari stories while enjoying a complementary cup of Tanzanian Coffee or Tea. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served in the dining tent, we also offer private bush lunches on the crater floor freshly prepared by our Chefs on a daily basis. Bush TV (local name for camp fire) is lit when the weather permits.

Camp Location

Situated in the heart of Tarangire National Park overseeing Tarangire River and close to Kuro Airstrip this camp has a 180º view towards Tarangire Hill. Only 5 Km away from Silale Swamp Plains where Elephants gather in their thousands regularly, Tarangire is also famous for it’s large concentration of Big Cats and tree climbing Pythons, even Kudus and the very elusive Oryx can be seen here. Allowing for waking Safaris and Night Game Drives this is the place to experience the bush in it’s full splendour. Kudos Airstrip is 1 Km away from Camp.

Around the camp

The best Camp to experience the bush otherwise, here you may go on Night Game Drives and walking Safari in the company of an Armed Ranger, fly over the Baobab forest with a hot air balloon or simply enjoy a private Bush Lunch or Dinner in the wilderness.
